Amount of tanks and tank sizes:
1*720L, 3*540L, 1*530L, 2*375L, 1*190L, 3*160L, 6*100L, 1*45L
= 18 tanks
Racks:
Mostly standard aluminum-racks. Some homa made in metal.
Heating:
Individual heaters in some tanks, other tanks without heaters.
Lighting:
Individual lights for all tanks. Mostly flourecent tubes, a few
light bulbs.
Filtration:
Powerheads with filtersponge in the bigger tanks. Airfilter with
filtersponge in the small ones.
Electric installation:
Standard outlets with cabels everywere.
Flooring:
Painted cement floor.
Substrate:
Bare bottoms in some fry tanks, but the rest has got sand. Mostly
sand from
diffirent beaches.
Interiors, (plants rock work):
One tank with Back to Nature and the rest with rocks of diffirent
sizes and shapes. Some plants i frytanks. Roots in
my Ancistrus spawningtank.
What could have been done better?
Everyting. Especially the electrics and the planing of the room.
Better
racks wouldn't hurt...
Do you have a show tank in your livingroom?
Yes, a 170L tank whitout cichlids. It´s filled with livebreeders,
rainbows,
plecos and other crap. My girlfriends fishes in my tank.

why? (only one individual)
One of my small 'kasanga'. 'He' has got the letter U on the side
of his
face, so 'he' is easy to keep track of.

A big group of wildcaught Tropheus black 'bulu point' with the
perfect
spots.
Maintanace
Waterchange frequency:
30-50% every other week.
Method of waterchanges:
Hose and a 4500L/h pump.
Smart gadgets to help working the room:
A bent plastic pipe at the end of the hose so I can hang the hose
on the
tank when i fill it up. No hands necessary.
Foods for fry and grown fish:
Home made shrimpmix, spirulina flakes, frosen cyclops, algea wafers
and
granulate.
